Ohkai guys. Today, at school, me and my friends got in trouble for drawing on ourselves. Nothing profound, just drawing on our arms/hands and a mustache on our face. It’s an outside day for Capture The Flag, and we’re bored and just kind of say what the hell and draw on ourselves. A teacher walked up to us and said
“You are breaking the code of conduct and the dress code, and as soon as we go inside, you are to wash it off.”
Well, problem, it was in Sharpie. ._. But, we go inside, and we check the code of conduct/dress code. Nowhere in there does it state that we are doing anything wrong and should get any form of punishment. Not to mention, other kids at our school do it all the time, and they have never had anything said to them. So, it may just be they have a problem with our group. So, throughout the day, I wasn’t allowed to go to my locker or go get any of my stuff needed for classes, because I refused to wash off any of what I put on myself. Then, we figured out, they were only trying to punish our group.Earlier in the year, I got called down to the office for the student coordinator finding my BVB notebook. In the notebook, a whole bunch of people had drawn in it. But most importantly, it had lyrics from my favorite bands:
Marilyn Manson
Black Veil Brides
Blood On The Dance Floor
Deuce
Hollywood Undead.
She asked me if I was disturbed and if I needed counseling because of the music I listened to. She then called me gothic. But, I wasn’t allowed to keep the cover of my notebook, or anything from it. So, the whole point of this, teachers are trying to take away our freedom of expression.
